What we collect
If you join the alert list, we receive the email address you submit so the service can record your interest. When you click a deal CTA, the service records the selected deal and timestamp for basic product measurement. On your first visit to the deal feed, you can choose categories, a budget, and a discount threshold. Those choices are stored in a browser-scoped preference linked to an anonymous first-party identifier, and we record the first completion time to measure selector adoption. We also record the first retailer link opened for that browser separately from the ordinary click history. Do not submit sensitive information through this site.
What we do not do
GearSignal does not process product payments, store retailer credentials, or fulfill physical-product orders. The anonymous identifier is not an account, is not used to identify you across devices, and the sample feed is not a live inventory system.
